2026 National Minimum Wage rates
From 1 April 2026 the National Living Wage applies to workers aged 21 and over at £12.71 per hour. The 18 to 20 rate is £10.85, the under-18 rate is £8.00 and the apprentice rate is £8.00 for qualifying apprentices.
Rates change on 1 April each year. A full NMW check can require consideration of working time and the payments that count towards minimum wage.
