Retirement policy

A model retirement policy which is in line with best practice, contains clear and effective wording, and is easy to edit.

[Company] does not operate a retirement age policy.

This means that there is no upper age limit beyond which you would be automatically retired and you are free to continue in employment for as long as you wish, subject to the normal rules concerning Performance, Attendance and Conduct.

It is important to note however, the difference between retirement age and pension age and that the retirement policy does not affect the age on which you may retire and have immediate access to your pension benefits. Please see your pension information pack for more information
